Emily is a writer, Designer-Maker and the Creative Director of Shipshape Studio. She ran a small handmade business selling her range of home and fashion accessories before setting up Shipshape Studio with her partner Adam. She teaches crafts and designs Shipshape Studio's range of home, fashion and lifestyle products. She enjoys giving people the confidence to work out their own designs and teaching them how to make them. Her classes cover a wide range of crafts, from printmaking to hand embroidery to jewellery making, and the skills you learn can all be carried on at home. Nancy Straughan is a textile designer and printmaker. Inspired by Scandinavian prints and 1950s textiles, she creates contemporary designs using eco-friendly paper and fabric. Nancy's love of printing by hand led to her teaching the basics of printmaking to others. Nancy's classes show how you can create beautiful designs from printing methods that you can carry on at home, and use for projects such as cushions or aprons or frame and display. Ella is an artist and a jewellery designer-maker from Northwood, London. She runs two businesses and incorporates vintage pieces and second-hand finds in to her work. Her classes are friendly and informal, which gives you the chance to design something you will love and cherish. We love her jewellery and watercolours, and think that you will too. Lucy McDonald runs a business called Moll and Mostin, where she makes products from vintage paper. She uses gorgeous paper and images from magazines, photos and postcards from 1920s- 1960s to make individual cards, notebooks, fascinators and boxes. She loves crafting with a group of friends and a cup of tea, and this friendly, relaxed atmosphere is evident in her paper craft workshops. She loves the creative process, and helping people to create something that they are proud of. Lucy will be teaching papercraft parties, which are great for hen parties.
